Prerequisite: ENGL 111 English Composition I. This course examines major works of world literature, including, but not limited to, fiction, essays, poems and plays, from the seventeenth century through the twenty-first century and examines significant time periods and diverse cultures. The course is interdisciplinary, connecting primary texts to literary movements, historical events, sociological issues, and biographical information.
